CALL FOR PAPERS
The Annual Meeting of the DSA Women and Development Group is an opportunity for people to discuss their ongoing research and professional and political work in any area which relates to Women and Development. The presentations are deliberately kept short to facilitate wide participation and discussion and presenters typically come from NGOs, national and international women' s organisations as well as universities (both graduate students and academic staff). It is a good networking occasion and in previous years the interest and quality of the presentations have been reflected in a series of edited books published based on the initial presentations at the DSA Women and Development meeting. If any one is thinking of giving a paper please contact any of the convenors - email addresses below.
The 2010 meeting will be held at the University of York, Heslington, York on Saturday 4th June 2011, at 10.30 a.m. The meeting is open to all members, and graduates, activists and academics are most welcome. Anyone wishing to stay after the meeting is welcome to do so. Please inform Haleh in good time, to enable her to reserve a table, or a room, to have dinner and informal
discussions at a local restaurant.
